To add to apple's list Versace was stalked and killed by a man. Rebbecca Shafer was killed by a man. meg Ryan has a restraining order on a male stalker claiming to be her husband. Spielberg has had two male stalkers.
"Experts say the typical stalker is usually a white male, in his late teens to early 40's, who may never had had a close personal relationship. Most are withdrawn, lonely and addicted to their tv sets. Over 90 % of them suffer from mental disorders and are often untreatable."

It's indicative of the fact that some people are so obsessed with celebrities that they pay no mind to common sense. But why would anyone be obsessed with Brad Pitt? He's one of the most unattractive people I've ever seen.

Yeah and something like the guy who shot John Lennon or the guy who shot Ronald Reagan so some celeb woman would notice him or the guy who stalked the actress in Hollywood (sorry, I don't remember her name) went to her door, shot and killed her.

Yeah I'd say that there are some folks out there who are obsessed with celebrity.
