Something inspiring and usually natural. I say "usually natural" because I have never seen an ugly wild animal. All wild animals and all wild flowers are beautiful to me.
When it comes to humans I have two different views.
One is people I don't know, such as athletes who ripple and shine with animal power, thus letting me see the perfection of a human physique. It is inspiring to see beautiful bodies in action.
The other is the beauty that comes from within someone I know. When I start to love them, all I can see is what is inside - gentleness, kindness, consideration, confusion ... so many different things sculpt that person and that is their real beauty. If they shine with that light, they will never age in my eyes and any line or wrinkle on their face is a testimony to their inner strengths and beliefs.
Beauty is both external and internal.
It is sensual. It delights you when you see it and takes your breath away (a tiger in the wild, a full-moon night, a stormy sky, a newly metamorphosized insect.)
It is also sensitive - a smile, a loving heart, a kind act.
Beauty can never exist alongside hate, so I guess beauty means love to me.

Classic beauty means a person matches the beauty criteria of a certain era or location : the current western beauty criteria are big eyes, small nose, plump lips, high chiseled cheekbones, sculpted jawline etc etc. Monalisa was a classic beauty at her time, now not so much anymore because the criteria change as time goes by !

Beauty is the presence that someone brings with them everywhere they are. It's a persona, and a light that shows their inner qualities.
Many can have striking looks, yet their beauty is lost in their poor character.
Some who may not fit the worlds definitions of beauty, can be beautiful merely be the lightening attitude their presence brings with them.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There is also inner beauty not just outer looks. Sometimes Beautiful people are very ugly inside!

beauty means such a lot of things,it does not have to be on just a person..ie the world is a place of beauty....
