salary is based on want mostly

you could be a chorus member for 20 years in 200 shows and still get paid less than someone who's been the main character in 2 shows for 1 year.

It's all about want, now i won't say you won't get paid higher salaries because of your experience, but let's use a real life application

High school musical

Zac Effron now that he's been in the first two, Hairspray, and soon to be in Footloose....in the third movie he'll be making a HEFTY hunk of money whereas say, some of the extras and back up characters, like Zeke and such won't be getting paid nearly as much.

But that doesn't mean that Zac has more experience.
Hope that helps

You have not been in any Broadway shows, you may have been in some amateur productions of shows that had been on Broadway. Be clear and honest. Pay is only by the amount of work in a film (no. of days) or by negotiation. In the theatre, pay is by the size of the role and negotiation. But you are not anywhere near ready for professional work. I can tell by your question/

Being almost 17 you are not going to be able to get a work at home job due to most of them requiring you to be 18 years old for legal services. While working at home is great, I do think that everyone needs to go and work on the outside. If you want writing jobs out there start a blog and building up your writing skills.
