One of the best places to find cheap stuff is on eBay. Search through and read the information on all listings to find the right model for you. Be careful thought, some items can be broken (it happened to me). Make sure the seller has a money back or replacement guarantee.

All printers are cheap. That is why they give them to you for free when you buy a computer. They make their money on the ink. Cannon printers (the bubble jet type and I have two) use relative cheap ink cartridges at about $35.00 each and you can get re-ink kits for all of them for about $19.95 a kit. Typically, I get from 6 to 8 re-fills from a cartridge.
Best buy, Wall-mart etc. have them.

You can get generic replacement cartridges for many Cannon models or refill them. Check if generic replacement cartridges are available for the Cannon model you are interested in before you buy the printer.
