My local Chinese resturant serves a pint of chicken noodle soup, what's the calories in it? Is it the same as a bowl?

There are about about 181 calories in a pint of chicken noodle soup. If you reduce the amount of pasta (noodles), you'll have significantly fewer calories. Pasta contains many carbohydrates and calories. Try substituting the noodles with vegetables instead.
Soup is a good diet choice, especially if it's made with a clear broth, and not a creamy version, such as cream of chicken soup, clam chowder etc. The creamier soups also have more fat in them. Stay clear of them too, if you're try to lose weight.

Hi, the people before me gave some pretty good recipes so I just wanted to add that when making a low fat soup or anything for that matter be sure to use salt sparingly. This helps keep you from retaining too much water. I noticed a quick weight loss when I went on a low sodium diet, I wasn't terribly overweight or anything but I did want to shed about 10 lbs. At the time I had also cut foods high in fat. That was in my pre - vegetarian days, now I stay at about 100 lbs and I'm 5'2" so it's comfortable.

They both are Perfect for your health. If you eat both, you're better off. But yea, I had choose fruits because they taste better.

It is determined by the fruit or veg associated with a comparison. In the event you compare a farrenheit to a carrot, the carrot is the better of the two nutritional. But once you compare an avocado to the carrot, then an avocado is better. The two the apple and avocado, are fruits.
