First off, if you're having a heavy yellow and smellyish discharge, you should see a doctor. You might have a bacterial infection.
The symptoms of bacterial vaginosis are vaginal discharge and odor. Usually, there are no other symptoms. Bacterial vaginosis is not passed by sex and is not dangerous, but you should have it checked out.
Secondly, I wouldn't sweat about not having your period yet. Doctors and parents don't usually worry until a girl is 16. If you have other signs of puberty, you're okay. When you do get your period, finally, you'll be wishing it away. lol.

Answer
Maybe. Most girls begin to menstruate at age 12 or 13. Some girls will start a few years later. However, girls who haven't had their first menstrual period by age 16 — a condition called primary amenorrhea — should be evaluated by a doctor.
If your daughter is of normal height and weight, has developed secondary sexual characteristics — such as breasts and pubic hair — and has no pelvic discomfort, you likely have nothing to worry about. Your doctor may simply advise you to wait for nature to take its course.
However, if your daughter hasn't developed secondary sexual characteristics by age 16 or early changes haven't continued, your doctor may recommend further testing. Possible causes of primary amenorrhea include:
* Pituitary gland disorders
* Disorders of the hypothalamus — an area at the base of the brain that regulates the menstrual cycle
* Chromosomal abnormalities, such as Turner's syndrome or Sawyer's syndrome
* Absence of or abnormal development of reproductive organs

don't worry its normal. Everyone is different and I felt the same way. Mine started when I was in the seventh grade and I was the last one in my group to start. Isn't it weird how we feel left out when it comes to starting on your period. well anywayz your period will probably arrive soon but enjoy the time that you don't have it. Now that I have periods regulary I wish I never had them. Why would you want to have to worry about cramps, pads, tampons and midol? believe me you're not missing out on anything girly so just live your life and when it comes it'll be there. also if you feel like you're not accepted in your "circle of friends" b/c of your period issue just lie and say that you started already and just pretend. Thats what I did when I felt singled out.

Trust me..They will come and before you know it you will be just like the rest..moaning about them each month!!
Enjoy the fact that yours havent arrived just yet,it sounds as though they will very soon what with the discharge etc.
Everyone else may be having periods,it dont make them any more 'grown-up' than you!.
Hope this helps! :-)

I didn't get mine until I was 14. The latest it comes is when you turn 15 so don't worry it will come. Some people don't get it until their 15th birthday. One of my friends got it when they turned 9 (that's the earliest.) So don't worry.

I didn't start my period until I was 15, almost 16. I was worried, too. No need to freak out - it'll happen. It always does.

Don't be in a rush! It's not exactly a gift you'll be cherishing each month. Everyone is different; I got mine when I was twelve, my mom got hers when she was eighteen, and my grandmother got hers when she was nine. Just keep pads with you from now on.

your turn is coming, the discharge is a warning to you that it is coming. Suggest you keep a sanitary napkin and clean panties with you from now on, because it usually starts when you are out and about and active.

it could be a yeast infection, and it might be another couple years until you get yours i was almost 17 when i got mine and every one in my classes had been getting there since they were 15 and up, think of your self lucky!...less worry in the middle of class, and u wont have to be excused every couple hours to go change a tampon (which can get embarrassing)

We grow at different rates. You might get yours soon, you might not.
Honestly, from my sister's point of view, "You should be happy you didn't get it when you were younger. It's annoying as hell to always wonder if you have a bigass blood stain on your pants."
She got her's when she was nine.
Puberty is NOT a race.
