I grew up in Tennessee. So that inclines me into the position of having a mid southern accent. However, in the past few years; I have worked hard in reducing my accent. I wanted to sound more professional in my job so I had to lose the accent. It's not hard to do, just record yourself and practice speaking without an accent. It takes time for your speech to "evolve" into the common monologue characteristic that most people share on TV. That's of course if you want to change it.

Everyone has an accent. It's just most people don't realize it. For instance I don't think I do but yet people can tell I'm from the mid-west by my accent.

I love the question! I guess we all do.
I am from the Midwest. People say I have a Boston or Canadian accent.

I've been told in the past I have a slight New York accident, even though I've never been there, and I don't have family from there.
