Yes. Some times, I see a question that I like, starred by one of my contacts and, when I try to answer it, I find out that I can't, because the asker has blocked me. In all cases, I've never even seen that person before, so I have absolutely no idea why did they do that. Well... *sigh*

Only once was there a therapist or so she claimed who would post very cryptic kind of questions. I believe the last one she posted, I answered in such a mocking fashion, plus I asked her what exactly was she provoking by her questions.
When next day I went to see what kind of question was her latest...she was gone!
From then on, I never heard from her again posting a question, but she had said, she was a therapist.
Other than that, I have not a similar experience. This "therapist's" was mysterious enough!
Wish I could remember her name though. But she had appeared for about 3 days altogether, then disappeared entirely.

I went to answer someones question that used to be a contact of mine and I couldn't. I thought this is weird and tried again. After the third time i realized I had been blocked. ( I know I'm slow) I have no idea why as I don't ever talk to them. So I went to their 360 page and left an apology comment. Last night I tried again to answer one one of their questions and was unblocked.....Go figure

Yes. But I also block a lot of people who have never answered me. If I see somebody giving self righteous or abusive answers to somebody else, I will block that person.
I can't imagine why anyone would block you, but I guess some people don't want to hear from anyone who has any opinions that aren't the same as their own. Their loss

How do tell if you are being blocked? If someone blocked me I would want to know why.

Once, but I did it because they blocked me first. I had never answered one of their questions nor did they ever answer any of mine.

Maybe. I don't pay attention to that much. If they don't like me then I would rather they block me, than flag me for no reason.

They think they have done well to get to a higher level and have been around 4 years in Yahoo Answers - freshers like me are on the way up they think - you - as a fresher - are below them - you are not worthy - cus they are superior duh ?
