When people share the same religion and it's culture they learn about each other and influence each other. By spreading around the world, Islam brought diffent ideas and attitudes into other countries and cultures. I know that here in USA a new religion formed around Mohammed Elijah and the whole country saw the affects Islam had on this new religion giving, from that influence and uprightness, dedication to precision and integrity that's hard to describe, but inspired many with a new view of the source, Islam and it's actual, practical and beautiful affect on people. I know I tried to incorporate as much of the attitudes and good that I could learn and accept. It's a shame that spoilers ruin any attempt for us all to love one another with respect and, what? For a lack of a better word, say dignity. I wonder if the other world religions and cultures have had the same positive affect on the Islamic part of the world?

As an aside, I find it hard, and I suppose other do also, to understand from where any question or person is coming. I suspect that many people don't answer questions because they just don't get it. I had to think in about four levels, if not five, in my mind, because of my perspective and habitual thinking. What a world. So much to see, in ourselves and others, that we usually and totally miss. What a positive and upbuilding question.
