I am 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I've been having contractions for a few days now. Yesterday I had brown discharge and then a little spotting and went to get checked and I am 1 centimeter dialated, 25% effaced, and baby is at station -1. I feel just yucky and have absolutly no appetite. Today I was out at the store and when I went into the bathroom my panties were really wet. Any idea what that could be? Do you think labor is soon?

you are in early labor now...either go check in to the hospital, or go home and wait until the contractions are stronger and closer together.

Sounds like your are leaking amniotic fluid. Yes you should contact the doctor. Some women will leak slowly while others gush it out. It is different for everyone. I suggest if your contractions get closer together then get to the doctor. In the meanwhile you can call your OB and ask. That is what they are there for. Every pregnancy and delvery is different. No one can tell you if it will be today or tomorrow when you deliver. Only the good Lord knows.
