I am looking for a place to live in the cleveland metro area?

my aunt lives in hinkley....I vist there a lot... i live in west virgina now i want to buy a house in the suburbs i like strongsville alot i want safety ... i want somthing not far from downtown... any suggestions

If you like Strongsville, then why not just live there? Well, as far as closer, I know a lot of people like Solon, I'm not sure how long it takes to get to downtown from Solon on the freeway sorry. The closer suburbs to downtown Cleveland is Cleveland Heights, University Heights, Shaker Heights, South Euclid, these are East Side 'burbs. As far as west side Lakewood, Parma, and I'm not too sure what else, I'm an Eastsider.
Why all the thumbs down? He said he wants to live closer to Cleveland metro area! These places are closer to downtown and safer then living in Cleveland.

I suggest Medina, Ohio. It is very near Hinckley, and close enough to commute to downtown. The schools are rated excellent, the crime, almost non-existant. The people are friendly and the services are outstanding. Also, the home values are still very good, with many affordable houses available. There are numerous rental opportunities here as well. The city has an adequate hospital, as well. Good Luck!!

If this is too far, than Strongsville is a good choice, however with the mall and the number of people that live there, it is very busy, and difficult to get around, especially at rush hour.

Brunswick is between Medina and Strongsville, and is fairly nice. Services not as good, schools are excellent, though.

Close to Hinckley....North Royalton is realy nice and has a great low crime rate. Strongsville is nice but has a higher crime rate, due to the mall. As you travel a bit east from Hinckley....Boston hts, Hudson, Macedonia, Twinsburg...all nice communities, low crime rates, all within 30 minutes of Hinckley.
