Realize that erotica is merely an alternative form of arousal, and that BOTH men AND women purchase and enjoy erotica in some form.
The biggest issue people have is that their ego will not allow their partner to enjoy ANY other kind of sexual arousal or pleasure unless it comes directly from them.

Even if she is the best looking woman on the planet, after a while you become used to her. It is the same thing as if you were to eat the same meal every single day! I do not care how good it is, after a while it would become boring! You want something a bit different! Let's say you go to the same restaurant for dinner every night. You get the exact same thing (Fillet Mignon). You would eventually want to eat something else and a McDonald's burger would be a treat!
This is not to say that you want to cheat on your wife, but you want to just look at the menu!

I am a woman and I look at porn, to me its art. I know its airbrushed and everything and sometimes its very tasteless but the womens body is something to be enjoyed. I dont think there is anything wrong with porn. Also, sometimes it spices things up in a relationship, like using toys or something.

Because they are selfish and thinking only of themselves and what they are wanting. By looking at porn, they are telling their wives that they are not enough for them.
In my eyes, my wife is the most beautiful woman in the world, and I have no desire to look at porn, because my wife satisfies me.

To satisfy their sexual needs. Some guys think it's fun. Other guys don't get what they want from their wives or girlfriends so they watch porn, or cheat.

well i asked my husband and he recons it has nothing to do with there wife but just something a bit different and that way they cant say there cheating.
but i think its a healthy thing if it keep your marriage going.
