i would rob their house but only steal their shampoo, socks and snack cakes. and i know you don't eat snack cakes so send them to me along with the kittens, who i will love forever and ever, amen. i don't need the shampoo and socks though, i have fancy tastes in those and i doubt jerks like these people do.

Collect the kittens and take them to the tenant and tell them to bring them to a shelter. Then don't renew their lease when it's up. They don't sound responsible at all to let the kittens out in the yard to use your sandbox. Imagine what the inside of the house must look like!

Gee. This seems like a serious over reaction to me. Could it be that they thought the kittens would enjoy the back yard better than being cooped up in the house? (like your dog).Of course I am not a pet lover. I live in the country where I watch what happens to all of the cute little animals that pet lovers bring out here and turn loose. I suspect that most of the abuse that animals suffer, come from people who purport to love them.

ah noooooooooooooo. Just ask them and if that is the case, tell them to call the local shelter for animals and have them picked up or have them take them there immediately. If you evict them and keep their deposit for this reason, you will lose your case in housing court. Why make a situation bigger than need be

I think that's the most time anyone has said or typed some form of the word serious in a paragraph. I seriously think you deserve an award.

report them, and just get them evicted anyway, havnt got time for people who dont care for animals,if they were having probs rehoming the kittens theres plenty of rescue places who would willing rehome them.Or build a pit in the yard so they can use it and let the kittens live in the house.Nasty people

Oh my... I hope that's not what they did, but, if they did... yeah, boot 'em on the street, cold, hungry and nekkid.
Approch them, maybe you could help them get suitable homes for them. You don't want kitties hanging around the house, peeing in the bushes and sand box forever. They deserve a nice warm home.

If you love animals, find a home for the kittens first. How you deal with the tenants (ie, proving they did it) is a separate issue.

take the kittens to the tenants and find out what's going on,
if you're not satisfied that the kittens are being taken care
of, call the SPCA or its equivalent.

Why don't you just go over and aske them why the kittens are out there. I'm sure they will give you an explanation.
