Sounds like you have very little confidence in yourself.

The following are some thoughts I had.

Can you think of any reasons why you sale yourself short?

How long has this been going on?

Do you get really uptight your final grades?

Does getting into the post secondary you want pressure you?

Does your school have a study skills class?

Do you have outside the school resources for help?

Do you ask questions in class?

Try setting a timer, a realistic amount of time, to have an assignment done in. Take a break every 30 minutes. You have to get sleep. People don't function well on little or no sleep. You are young, have a social life.

Stop questioning everything you do. It appears you do well, give yourself a break!!!

I'd suggest meeting with someone who specializes in this field. A tutor or teacher should be able to help you. My guess is that you cannot be fully engaged or focused over a period of 9 hours. Shorter, more focused study periods will help.

You must set tight limits on yourself to complete the assignments. You must feel time pressure and complete the work quickly, even if it's not perfect.

Get a study coach who can help you set this up.

It does depend on how you personally study but I think 8 hours is a bit much. Try to cut down the time by half. Dont rush through. Its okay not to be perfect.

my first time to hear that. doing your homework easier and efficient requires a system that only you can formulate with the complete references, concentration and strategy
