I have used one shampoo for about 35 years, I'm not kidding. I have used it on my hair as well, as it also contains coconut oil and it made it easy for me to comb out my long hair..In a pinch, I've used it to wash dishes and in the clothes washer .It comes in a square, plastic tub, is thick liquid when warm, like lard when it is cold, you can use it straight or diluted but it lasts forever, is not that expensive and will literally take out stains from horses that have NEVER had a bath. The best thing about it is that it works equally well in warm or cold water and rinses out wonderfully. You will find it in about any tack shop or farm supply business as everyone who shows cattle, sheep, etc uses it as well. It is ORVUS livestock shampoo...A container will last forever...tougher stain? just put it on undiluted and leave it on a while, it's wonderful! I swear by it. I too used to haul a paint with a lot of white, and sometimes I would go ahead and use a little silver after the ORVUS, but for the most part, that will do the trick all by itself. I still always follow it up with ShowSheen.

There is a human hair product called LeRue, White Minx. Wash the feathers with your blue shampoo, rinse, add WhiteMinx, leave in. It removes yellow from human hair and horses tails, bet it would work on her fetlocks too.

i used betadine on my horses socks and swear by it. yes you have to be careful with it because you can stain the hair but if you put it on a sponge first and get it all lathered up and then apply to the hair and scrub with the sponge wait a few minutes and rinse and you'll have bright white socks.. .. you could also try peroxide.

A solution of water and a small amount of bleach does it. I know a guy with a paint that loves to roll in the mud, and that solution works every time.

just to answer to one above me here... DO NOT use betadine! They'll be orange instead of yellow.
You have two good answers already, also a hydrogen peroxide soak will re-whiten already white hair and clean up the remainder of the stain.
