I would like to give you some honest studying and reference tips. Wikipedia is a fine source to get an idea of what source of information you should be looking for. NEVER use wikipedia as your basis for research or fact. This way you can find all the material on the League of Nations that you want.
Just to guide you in the right direction, the League was doomed to fail from onset. Not only was it a "loose" association of states with no real authority, but the major global powers left it (Germany, Japan) or were not incouraged to join or even stay (U.S.S.R).

Gonna have to narrow that down.
I can tell you that the League of Nations was formed after the end of WWI to make sure that war never broke out again (since we had a WWII, I don't think they were too successful, were they??).
Google it - lots of hits for it. Unfortunately, the hubby isn't home otherwise I would ask him. He is meeting with some of his graduate students about papers. . .

Look up the biography of President Woodrow Wilson. President Woodrow Wilson had the US intervene in WWI and urged the League of Nations. Back than US Senators weren't directly elected by the people and they didn't ratify the treaty of Versailles.
Good Luck

Breaking Through the Liberal Cocoon...
Explaining What Makes America Great and Why We Must Protect It
How, in less than 250 years, has the American population built the most prosperous, the most powerful, the most advanced civilization ever?" The Europeans have been around thousands of years longer than we have -- the Asians much longer than that -- and yet we run rings around every one of them, and everybody else, too. It's not even close. It's not a contest in any way that you want to measure. "So how can it be," I asked them, "that less than 300 million Americans can rule the world as it never has been ruled before, in less than 250 years of existence? Have you ever really stopped to ask yourself this question
