Someone posted on another question that ED admitted to cheating. What happened and why wasn't he kicked out of the house?
I also read something about the Donatos being aligned all along (their fights have been fake). Anyone know anything about this.

My understanding from the feeds is that Dick said there was a code in the letter. Whether he got the code right is another question. However, many of the letters from home include some vague advice on how to play the game. As I understand, this "violation" counts as a bending of the rules not a breaking of the rules -- sort of like the Johnny Fairplay incident on Survivor several years ago.

Even if it were a violation of the rules, it would have been less of a violation than Jen's actions several weeks back when she refused to abide by the slop restrictions that she accepted as part of a POV competition. Barring certain types of physical assaults, BB (and similar shows like Survivor) let the contestants enforce the rules for the most part.

From what I have read and what has been said, the Donatos were still talking ot each other at the time that they would have applied for BB 6 (the one in which everyone had partners). The breakdown in communication would have occurred shortly after that incident. (It was described in the first show as having not talked for two years which would put it around the time of BB6). I think the fights have been real, but they also understand (as do most families) that their internal fights are their internal fights and they come second to fighting against others. In short, they have issues but they also have each others back. (Yes, I know that Danielle said some things to Zach about betraying Dick when the three of them got to the Final Two, but my hunch is she was merely trying to get on Zach's good side if he won the last HOH.)

Dick was given an HOH basket of goodies including a letter from his son Vincent.

He was sitting outside with Daniele and told her that he and Vincent had planned a way where he could send special messages to him.

Vincent was to use the first and last letters of each paragraph in the note to spell out a message.

I was watching this when it happened and from what I could gather the message thing really didn't work. Perhaps BB edited the letter or the letter was written a while ago and the message is no longer valid.

Daniele simply laughed a little at Dick saying that she would have tried to work out more ways of sending messages.

As far as them auditioning together... I'm not sure about this one. I do know that they knew beforehand that one another would be on the show. Dick and Daniele crossed paths one day outside the CBS building.

Yeah, Vincent posted on another BB site that he and ED had figured out a way to use code in the letters. However, Vincent said ED got it all wrong. He was kinda ragging on his dad for not being able to remember the code they'd agreed to use. In any case, ED got the letter too late for it to do him any good so that's why BB didn't punish ED. Vincent was also talking about how stupid his dad was to reveal the code like he did.

I don't know about ED cheating, but he has said on the live feeds that he auditioned for the show 3 times in the past.

I am guessing he didn't get on the show before because of his toxic personality.lol

Eric and Amber have auditioned a few times as well.

It was not a bending of the rules as another person stated. It was a clear violation of the rules. They are not allowed to have outside information. He planned to make up a code with his son Vincent. He admitted to it. He was not joking. He was serious. He broke the rules. It does not matter if the information was useless. He broke the rules. Jen's eating did not help her advance in the game, but yet she was punished for it. Dick should be punished for his cheating.

I have not heard this before, but it would not surprise me. I don't like Dick or Danielle. I hope Zach gets the last HOH so that at least one of them will be out of the Final 2!!!

I think that tension between father and daughter really does exist, like it does for any parent with a still very young child (she's barely out of her teens). If it's true that her grandparents raised her then her pain is real because every child wants to be with their parents. For that I feel bad for her. I think he's an immature and irresponsible parent.
