My baby is one month and his father is being non supportive. We use to date in the past and decide to meet up and talk about issues in the past and mend our relationship. He asked me was I dating and I said no vice versa. One thing lead to another and I got pregnant and he stop returning my calls after the first time we talked about it, he said he would agree to take care of it but then asked me to have an abortion. Three months into my pregnancy I found out he was getting married. Now since he hide for nine months, I'll most likely have to deal with him for 18 years. He makes well over $80,000 a year. What should I ask for in the hearing?

The DCSE will calculate his expenses and paycheck with yours and figure out how much he will pay.
If you think he won't pay voluntary then ask for his paychecks to be garnished.
Also expect to have to do a paternity test.
Ask for full custody but he will probably have vistation rights.
You may want to ask for insurance for the child and that the child be entilted to any social security or life insurance in case he were to die before the child reaches 18.
People blast women who go after guys for child support but what about the loser men out here that will put there dick in anything they should just get away scot free. Screw that.
The mother has to suffer, so should the sperm donor.
Don't like the idea of paying child support don't have sex.

Make sure you file for FULL custody.As far as how much money he owes...he will have to provide the courts a W-2 or incometax statement. The courts will the determine how much you are contributing to the child as well. From the income amounts, the judge will decide what the father will owe to you and it will be taken direclty from his paycheck.
Medical coverage...see who has the better insurance between the both of you. If you do, then you can request he pay some of that as well and that will be figured into the support order.
You can also arrange for visitaion at this time too...if you will ever get to that point, but since he has hidden you and the child, doesnt seem if thats going to happen.
Just be sure to file for full custody of your child..this was he can not pull any funny stuff later on.

in some states you get more money when there is no visitation. and it sounds like there wont be. you dont ask for any specific amount, an amount will be awarded to you by the courts based on your income and his income and the amount of time spent with the child. just go to the court and file for child support. DO NOT MAKE ANY ARRANGEMENTS WITH HIM ALONE. You want this to be legal and formal so that his wages can be garnished to pay you. I am sure his wife is not going to like this. And, another reason to file with the courts is that the first baby momma gets the most money in CS. If they have a kid and break up and she files in the court and you didnt, her kid comes first and yours second. protect yourself and the kid.

Here in Florida the going rate for child support is about $400.00 per month ... yup .. not alot.
However .... you can file a court action (use a lawyer on this) and have a paternity test to prove he is the father ...as he will no doubt deny the child ..... the court can award child support ... however, it will come with visitation attached ..... and he will have access to you and your child until the child is 18 .....
Choose well ..... it's a one way door .... no going back!

It kinda looks like he cheated on this other woman with you. That's why he wanted you to get the abortion, also because he didn't want the responsibility. No, I do not think you did it on purpose. You should ask a lawyer, or Child Support Enforcment on how much you should get.

Unless a child support order is in place, all transfers of goods and money for the benefit of the child are considered gifts. Your boyfriend needs to cart his butt to the county courthouse with his attorney and get a fair child support order in place. He also needs his attorney to establish a visitation order with the court too. Your boyfriend has obligations and his half assed approach to meeting them is no good. IF he can't get his butt up there then hire an attorney up there who can represent him. That is what attorneys are for.

As a woman to (hopefully) another woman, get on birth control. Its so much better than child support!!

get a lawyer first and he can tell you
just a hefty monthly child support
and you dont have to worry about visitiation it sounds like.
