Can someone please give me a plain English definition of "verbal model?"?

I need it for school. I googled it and went to dictionary.com, but couldn't find anything that was in plain Engish. It was like for scientists or something. : )

A verbal model is simply a description of a concept. Kind of like a definition, but with all aspects of the "model" defined.
