Considering divorce. Should I move to another state to be with my sick grandchild, or stay with my alcoholic husband who may have liver cancer??

You really didn't provide very much detail here.
How old is the grandchild? Are the parents still around? The husband "may" have liver cancer... you're waiting on results or just speculating?
You made a commitment to your husband in sickness and in health. I don't think you should abandon him now if he is ill.

You should honor your wedding vows. You could go to your sick grand child with out divorcing your husband. Are you attending Ala-non meetings? If not they are a great help when you are married to an alcoholic.
