without sun we all would be freezed,
the plants use dioxide carbon and the sun to make food for themselves,

Well, assume the Sun disappears from the Solar System tommorow.

The first effect would be that the earth is no more going around the sun and we do not know where we head next.

Because the sun does not rise in the morning ( the morning was because of the Sun anyway, now it will be by your clock) that the temperature drops drastically ( or let us say, never rises ). The birds sit confused.

No light .. 3 more days, water frozen no Electricity, .. goes on.

The earth getting cooled apart, you will see that the plants stop getting energy and the vegetable market would not work beyond the next three days and period! No more plant food. Which means just no more life.

This should be good for starters and we have not even begun. We are yet to get out of the "then what will be the erstwhile Solar System" and to some unruly climate of gases, etc which we are not used to ..

That should give you an Idea ..of the Sun, the light of our lives.

2. plants prepare food using sunlight during photosynthesis.
3.water evaporates from water bodies due to sun's heat which helps in water cycle &rain fall.
4. for blowing of wind.
5.sun's energy is trapped in side the earth in ores & minerals .
6.for drying of materials,formation of salts heat from the sun is essential.
7. energy from the sun is stored in solar cells & used as a renewable source of energy,which is inexhaustible & pollution free.
8.life on earth is possible because of the optimum amount of heat we receive from the sun.

It give energy to us in the form of solar energy.
without sun there will be nothing on teh earth.

The main reason is "SUN LIGHT". Everybody needs sunlight, without that we can' d oanything.
