looking for the best way to salvage electronics, aluminum, wood, fabric, stainless steel that has been submerged in salt water, and the salt has left white powder on the items

well for the metal believe it or not spray coke a cola or Pepsi on it, let it set for a few minutes (but do not let it dry) then use a metal polish to remove the coke and bring it back to nice shine.
for wood, sanding it down and restaining it is best choice, but there are some wood solvents available that will remove a layer of polyurethane or clear coat (if it has it) that will work as well, if the wood wasn't sealed and the corrosion goes below the first few layer of wood the only thing you can try is soaking it in filtered tap water, but that rarely works perfectly. Just get a carpenter and replace it.
As for the electronics, use WD 40 or similar penetrating oil, soak it up real good, and then use an electronics cleaner spray to remove the oil.

By looking at the density of the bottle. I'm pretty sure that it's made in China if it's made out of aluminum. Stainless steel is expensive, and China is usually where cheaper products are made.

Lots of fresh water and soap.As for the electronics,I'm not sure but there are sprays to clean electronic components.CRC makes one for automobles,radio Shack also makes a cleaner spray.
