I really love my flip flops, but a really nice pair of sandals can never be turned down.

Flip Flops on the beach and sandals everywhere else.
Sandals have more versatility and can be very sexy yet comfortable.
Flip flops are comfortable but not flattering and not accepted in many places.

sandals because it generally more acceptable than the flip flops althoulgh i feel more free with flip flops.
