If your really that concerned about young children. Why dont you get you wallets out and donate some money to childline (NSPCC) that would help children not standing there voicing your media influenced opinions on Maddies parents!

Right on!!! Here was my answer to the question you also answered a little earlier from the girl that said "Kate is panicking now"
I wish everyone would STOP being so damn judgmental. Any one of us could be these people. You may not have made the mistake of leaving your children a few hundred yards from you while you were eating(which i agree was a BIG mistake) but I'm sure you've left them in the car to go in and pay for gas, or left them in the yard while you were doing something in the house, etc. -It only takes 30 seconds to have a child kidnapped. They are already going to pay for eternity because Madeleine is probably not alive so why don't you people shut up. If you would really just try to put yourselves in their position for a minute you would change your mind. All you judgmental people are probably not even parents - People that don't have children always have "the best" advice - get a life - when you have your own children you will see that you are not so perfect. The agony they are going through is enough without YOU people judging whether or not their other children should be taken away - how about this - You don't know them so it's NONE of your concern!!!!! Are you willing to step up and take these twins??? and deal with their everyday agony of being stripped from their parents??? Then SHUT-UP - They never thought this would happen to them just like every other case of kidnapped children's parents. Must be hard for you people being so damn perfect.
I really worry about you judgmental people because one day your words will haunt you - especialy when you have kids - then you're going to think back to this and realize how stupid you were for saying the things you are saying

I don't think you know that they were left every evening - I do not think they should have left them alone even for a minute as small as they were - but- it was a mistake - and not a mistake that deserves their child being kidnapped because of it - that's like saying just because you dress sexy that you deserve to be raped - and I didn't hear anything from you about your own kids - so now I know i'm right - you have no children - if you aren't a parent you shouldn't be judging - period

This was not really worth a response but I will give one anyway.
How do you that we do not donate to children's charities anyway? And we are not sad pathetic losers, the majority of us are concerned parents, brothers or sisters, aunts or uncles, grandparents, godparents, etc. who have a genuine concern over what happened to that poor, innocent child.
Whether you realise this or not the media is a great influence on most people's lives on a daily basis including cases which involve charity institutions as it also helps charities to gain finances to continue to help people or animals.
The case of Maddie is one we would all like to see resolved with a happy ending and we still cling to hope on that however fast it is fading.

Let's get real here. The question has nothing to do with people's personal depth of feelings to child welfare. It is to do with how those who are susceptible to such feelings have had their heartstrings pulled by the most cynical pair of hypocrites imaginable, to the extent that they have felt compassion to put money towards a cause that the parents definitely do not deserve to see a penny of. Personally I am not going to be hypocritcial about donating to child welfare, I have enough pressures seeing to my own children's welfare. Incidentally, if the two nice doctors had been doing the same thing, we would not even be discussing this. No, what gets most people's backs up is the fact that the McCanns are in the position to be able to organize a huge and manipulative media campaign, whereas anyone going through the daily grind of trying to raise their own families, had they been so neglectful, would have been jailed and their kids taken away legally.

Can I just say that in my opinion the British Press have treated and are still treating the McCanns with some compassion and are not trying to raise a lynch mob.
I red the papers yesterday and it actually changed my mind from thinking of them as monsters back into real people who may be being made into scapegoats.
I for one am retiring from the McCann witch hunt until all the facts are released. I suggest we all do the same.
