Our government in the good old US of A is out of touch but only because so many people in this country have forgotten that this country was started was to keep government out of your life that's why the founding fathers came to the new world to escape this. now as a super power built on the belief of freedom but you can not drive a car without wearing a seat belt, or smoke a cig in an open air park. now we want to force what we do on Iraq who made us or the U.S.A. the way it should be. maybe just maybe not all people want to be American.
do you agree? does being an American still mean you are free, or just that your too stupid to not know different?

No, it wouldn't. Some countries would improve while others would decline. There are those in every country who dislike living there and those who love it. Diversity of opinions should bring debate, not war. And remember, if you kept to your form of democracy, there would be an awful lot of voters in China, India, Middle East, etc. The U.S.A. would be a much different place. Or, are you talking about imposing your nation's rules on the entire world without them having any input? Like a dictatorship? That would go against everything you say you stand for, wouldn't it? So.......since it is doubtful that many countries would join the U.S.A. of their own volition, the question is moot. It will never happen. And thank goodness for that. Not that I dislike the U.S.A. but I am perfectly happy where I am.

The world would probably not benefit by being RULED by the USA. However, it would benefit by having more countries rule themselves the way the USA rules itself.
I agree with you that there are more laws in the USA than I would prefer. But at least these laws have been passed by elected legislatures, and can be repealed by the legislatures or by the Initiative process.
Even a flawed democracy [and face it, no government is perfect] would be better for Iraq than a terrorist dictatorship. Besides, every terrorist state is a threat to the international community. That is the real reason for bringing democracy to Iraq. But it won't be easy because the Iraqi people have never yet known democracy.

Trust me Ivan, you'll be moving back to the USA after a couple of years.

Wouldn't it be hugely amusing if things here deteriorated further and based on your actions, you weren't allowed back into your homeland? What fun being homesick in England must be. Good luck getting them to accept you in Germany or France.

No, the declaration of independence demonstrated most human rights come from God. In the US Constitution is the bill of rights and I attached a reference.

Very few humans who live or have lived on this planet have enjoyed the freedom we do.
