Many guys I know sniff their own underwear as they do their washing (I've seen this also a few times at the laundromat) - I've come to the conclusion that it's kind of instinctive.
Now sniffing someone else's briefs - I guess if I was sufficiently attracted to them - but I wouldn't do it as a fetish or to a stranger's undies

the answer to Your question go's back millions of years, and live's on up to the curant day, yes all other animals are attracted to the sent of a potential sexual partners, so no shame in that we too are animals, but we have evolved in a way that eticat try's to dictate as to how we behave, all the other animals have no problem with it and you are doing no harm ,so sniff away, fella love to see what it does for you.

What a strange question to ask, my other half has a habit of sniffing ones off the floor to see if it's clean laundry or dirty, they're his, but it still makes me look at him with disgust so i can't imagine a man wanting to sniff another man's pants!!!

YES. it's been proven that men and women are attracted to the opposite sex partially by the compatibly of their immune systems which they have shown, we can tell by smell, so don't lie, don't be ashamed just understand that to some degree we are all out of control.
