I believe homosexuality is as valid as heterosexuality. I think they should be able to adopt and marry, just as any heterosexual, because it'd be a double standard not to -- legislation based on morals is sickening.

To the above poster: Homosexuals and bisexuals DID exist hundreds of years ago. It was common in Ancient Greece for boys to sleep with men, and then there's the island of Lesbos, etc. If it didn't happen hundreds of years ago, then there would be nothing about it in the Bible.

And I see gay cats and dogs all the time. I had a female dog that was "attracted" to other female dogs, and behaved like a male when expressing such feelings.

I'm male, 27.

Well I am 16 and I don't really know if I agree with it but yea I think it can be acceptable and they should be allowed to marry and/ or adopt because if two people are in love they should be able to do that! And to me the definition of marriage is when two people love eachother and want to commit to eachother... they fall under that category and just because their dating preferences are different doesn't mean they can't be accepted. I think everyone has the right to choose what lifestyle they want and I don't think it is right to tell someone they can't get married. And people can't help who they are attracted to + they aren't hurting anyone! So yes I think they should be accepted more and allowed to marry/ adopt. I hope this helps! =)

Why shouldn't homosexuality be morally acceptable? It's not like we chose it (well, some do, but not true homosexuals), so why should we be denied rights granted to other human beings?

If we adopt, we aren't going to try to alter the child's sexuality. That's the heterosexual's jobs. They try their hardest to "convert" their gay kids (sometimes), or reinforce in their minds that homosexuality is bad (esp. in the Bible belt).

So yes. We *should* be allowed to marry and adopt, and have all the other rights granted to other *people* and married couples.

Yes. I think a loving relationship is what creates a successful marriage & family, one that is suitable for raising adopted children.

No, I don't believe it's acceptable at all. People weren't gay/lesbian/bisexual hundreds of years ago. It's nature to fall for the opposite sex. You don't see gay dogs and cats running around now, do you? I can't help that they date, but they should not be allowed to marry and/or adopt either.
