Maya,
I used to be in this big business, where people showed off and lived high and mighty. I was always thinking, at parties, trips, ceremonies, always thinking. Never content with what I had become. I made good money, met many influential folks. I always felt empty. As a child I thought I would someday grow up to be, a sort of super being. Not famous or renowned. I wanted to go to Africa because it moved me to see their struggle, I thought I could help at least one person. Then I started writing and singing. I could have reached so many people, that was the promise in my life. I could help that way.
-Maya, things change. My band besides the lead guitar player and myself are gone. Every other one of them over dosed on one drug or the other, mainly heroin. Today my thoughts on the struggle on the Continent of Africa, now includes mostly all of the world. The only way I feel I can help now is through the power of prayer. If you would pray with me, together we can help diminish, somewhat, the human struggle. This is one good question, it will help people think deep. You are a good girl...

I've changed a lot, and in my case I think it from better to worse. When i was younger, I was really active in sports and nothing could really hold me back. I wasn't shy or scared to speak my mind. I was also really popular and attracted friends easily. But as I got older, I became so nervous, and I didn't hardly want to make friends with anyone. I was extremely shy, and I blew up lots of chances that could of really changed my life. I pretty much just gave up on everything except education, and I barely speak at all. Its almost liek my life is backwards. As I get older the less life I have.

Interesting question...I grown and matured a lot over the past few years and I'm not so quick to judge others anymore and I've become more laid back. I think it's cuz I got mixed up with some bad friends and then I found ones that had more of a positive influence on me.

With maturation - I'm told - I was supposed to get smart.
Then I was told I missed and only got shrewd. But I keep proving that wrong...almost on a daily basis.
However; while I got physically stronger for a while, mentally.....Never mind.

I can control my emotions 90% of the time
I've become more woman than girl(at almost 30, I should hope so.)
I tend to learn more from my mistakes, instead of dwelling on them.

I've learned to be more straight forward with my opinions. And its a terrible change. I miss being my old quiet self. People think I'm just rude now.

Well, I'm more demanding when it comes to work and love.
I'm less tolerant when dealing with christianism.
I'm more tolerant when dealing with political points of view.
I'm older but not that much wiser...LOL!
And I'm much more confident and I know how to stand and keep my ground.
