This one's a bit obscure, but it always bothered me.
When I was a little kid, Toys R Us had a different name. It was Bargain Town.
When they changed their name they made a commercial in which the Bargain Town logo would expand quickly from the center of the screen and an announcer would practically bark out "Bargain Town". This repeated 3 times. He would then say "has changed it's name to Toys R Us, Toys R Us, Toys R Us" with the new logo expanding in the center. It was like being shot over and over again.
This was the late 60s, early 70s at latest. 40 years. Or nearly so.
And that commercial still bothers me.
