...I remember that one of his earliest films, was one of Universal's classic entries in their 'Invisible Man' series, from 1940, I think, and entitled "The Invisible Man Returns"...

...ironically, he would return to the role of the Invisible Man, about 10 years later, in a humorous snippet at the end of the classic Universal horror comedy, "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein"...

...in the late 30's, if I recall correctly, he played a part in a pretty sinister film, also for Universal, entitled "Tower of London", which also featured Basil Rathbone and Boris Karloff...

...I also remember Vincent being oh-so delightfully and delectably villainous in the role of Cardinal Richelieu, in the late 40's version of "The Three Musketeers", which also starred Lana Turner & Gene Kelly...

...my personal favorite, however, was his horrifically grandeoso performance, in 1952's (...I think) "House of Wax", also starring the beautiful Carolyn Jones, and a little ditty of a sinister appearance by a new, up-and-coming actor by the name of Charles Buchinsky...later known as Charles Bronson!!!

The only two that I can think of off the top of my head are Laura with Gene Tierney and The Killers with Ava Gardner. Both are before he earned fame in his horror movies. I'm sure there are more, but those are the two that I can recall.
