no way in hell can he fire you. it didn't happen at work...in fact, if he fire you, you could file for wrongful termination! if you kicked his *** right, he will respect you. i think you should beat his *** every time you run into him outside of work for good measure.
if he even mentions the incident, i would pay the local crack hoe to claim they were "partying" together.

First off your boss shouldn't have been playing pool with his employees in a bar after work. This very incident enforces the need for separation management from work force.
Next, if I were the person you assaulted your a## would be in jail right now.
As far as loosing your job. That would depend on whether there was enough money in your next pay check to pay back anything you owned the company.

No...you probably won't be fired for hitting him. You may be arrested and charged with a crime but he will not fire you for hitting him. You will however be fired for something he finds that you have not done at work. Don't worry about keeping your ship tight now....it's too late. Better be hunting down another job and on your next job...don't go out drinking and playing pool with the boss....real bad idea.

You should quit before he has a chance to fire you, which he certainly could.
If your story has any truth to it, you just found out your boss would cheat you at pool. What do you think he will do when it comes to a bigger issue that affects your career or salary with the company. Hope he doesn't file assault charges and find a job with someone with more integrity.

He can fire you for any reason and this is a good one. Having you at work would constitute a physical threat to him. Why would you want to continue to work for a cheater in the first place?

LOL....well I wouldn't be expecting any glowing reports anytime soon. In fact I would expect to me criticized and written up quite a bit from now on.

I will assume this is a joke. But to answer your question, you would likely be fired if you did such a thing, and perhaps even face criminal charges.
