He may not have done; this is not universally accepted at all. It was a rumour begun during the war to make him less scary.
If he didn't have a second testicle, it could have been a non-descended testicle (where it's present but never came down to live in the scrotum) or a birth defect. Apparently it's not that uncommon.

My theory is that God had seen what a pathetic guy Hitler would grow up to be and wanted to reduce his chances of having children by 50%.
Of course other theories abound, but it does seem that he was so far out there mentally that maybe there was some deep rooted psychological inferiority. That guy was so messed up, he is equivalent to what we would call a "football bat" today.

I dont know if it was historical fact or a case of the Allies ridiculing him as the other Nazi leaders were included in the famous ditty...
Hitler's only got one ball,
Goering's two but very small
Himmler has something similar
and poor ole Goebels has no balls at all.

Hitler wasn't he gassed or went blind due to stress of fighting tommy in the trenches.He was convinced he'd never be O.K. but he was wrong.That's all I know.
