LDE,
great question. Knowing what I know now, and having at my disposal what I have (i.e., mobile phones, ipods, computers at work-home-and on the road) I imagine that I couldn't go back very far and still be comfortable. This of course is considering that I am also brining knowledge with me as to how things turned out.

The person I would be, if given the opportunity, would be General Dwight D. Eisenhower.

If; however, I visit the past without the knowledge I have (today) but am provided the opportunity to recall the "current life" once I returned to the world of 2007 the answer would be quite different.

The person I would like to be, given the above opportunity, is General and President George Washington.

For this you get a star!

Best to you,
Gerry

I dont really know but i know i would want to be Alexander Hamilton for only these reasons: to see how the stockmarket was made and to help write some important U.S documents. Only for those reasons.

I don't know really. We have it easy compared to our ancestors, especially our ancient ancestors. I don't think I'd want to be anyone in history, maybe someone in the present though.
