I am not a fan of Starbucks or the coffee house scene. I said that to a group of folks and I was looked upon as if I was "beneth" them or something, And I was questioned as to why I did not like starbucks.

I thought to myself is it really that serious.

First off i am not into coffee or any of the beverages they sale, I know they sale other stuff but I am not into the genre of things they sale

I'm not a fan, either. I make my own espresso and do not charge myself through the nose for it. I don't have time for coffee house chatter, either. My day is too full for idle time wasting like that.

To me it should be a crime to like it. What a plague, I thought it was funny in the movie "Best in Show" where the couple claimed to have first seen each other in 2 different starbucks across the street from each other... until I saw 2 starbucks across the street from each other in San Francisco.

Starbucks means absolutely nothing to me. I will make my coffee at home and save a lot of money doing it. I think people like to brag about the money they spend on frivolous things.

whilst I like Starbucks [ish] it is IMO very over priced and somewhat a waste of time...........would rather buy some decent coffee for my house and enjoy it there, along with friends, that way I can cater to every ones tastes.

regards

Who cares about what they think? I'm not really much of a coffee drinker anyway.
