The fountain sodas - like McDonald's Coke - is the syrup mixed with the carbonated water - and to maximize profits, they use less syrup and more water. Therefore, the canned stuff is SO much better because it's mixed the way it's supposed to be.

McDonald's (as most restaurants do) has a machine that mixes the Coke syrup with the carbonated water and sometimes the mix is not quite right.
Personally I prefer Coke the way I had it growing up... in a glass bottle. To me the fountains don't mix it right half the time and anything else tastes like the container (plastic or aluminum)

I don't care for canned Coke; but I can drink McDonalds COke. They can't be the same. The canned Coke seems stronger.

I don't know about u guys buy a while back there was coke in glass bottles at it was the best coke ever that've hit my lips.

well i used to work in mcdonalds and it depends really...it is fresh coke it is best without ice though....coca cola is nicer out of a can though i think as its less pressurized but thats just me

all restaurants have the syrup & carbon but the mix has to be monatered they do it for profit ..why do you think these companys can offer you those meal deals....money and we buy it
