Hello, I am like this too. I do not read forums anymore though as it is just filled with useless arguments and no help to anyone. I just see it as a hobby. People like to play guitar for 8 hrs a day, but since its "cool" with the kids to play guitar nobody will make fun of them. Playing video games for that amount of time in the end has the same purpose which is entertainment. You just have to have your priorities straight man. If your buddy wants to do something with you don't lie so you can play. I use to have this problem. Are your grades keeping up? If so game on my friend. If not you should probably cut back. You might want to get your parents to help out, but if they aren't helpful like mine you are on your own. Lock up all your stuff somewhere or go to the extreme and sell it if you think you are addicted. Watching videos and reviews on the internet doesn't mean you are addicted however. Many people spend their days whining about life and how bored they are. For people like you and I, we have a hobby. Gaming is certaintly a fun hobby and actually has been proven to improve your hand eye coordination and logical thinking. So the bottom line is if you have read to here you are only addicted if it interferes with your real life duties. If you are by yourself and all your work is done, game on my friend. Have fun with GTA IV I know I will!
