communication in a marriage relationship means discussing problems, or just every day life issues (such as bills, issues with the kids if you have them). it also means telling each other how you FEEL about things...

if you dont' know what the other person wants, thinks or feels, then what is the use in having a relationship?

Communicate means more than just talk. I really means to discuss something using words that make the other person understand what you are talking about in a way quite similar to how you view and think about that item or topic. If they don't understand how you view what you've described, then you have not succeeded in communicating your thoughts.

If you succeed in communicating well, the other person can stand in your shoes, and feel what you feel, and see what you see.

Webster's Dictionary defines it as:
"2 a: to convey knowledge of or information about : make known b: to reveal by clear signs "

The funny thing is if you communicate your needs and wants it is not taken into consideration and you feel as if you didn't say anything. People may not express things if they feel that the other person do not understand and resolve the issues that concern them. Sometimes, issues do not get resolved and you get affected. If it is not an issue, it would not be an issue in the first place.

Depending on the issues and people's recommendations, at the end of the day, you are the person who wear the socks, the shoes, who lives in that house, who works in that job, who drives that sort of car and not the others so certain issues you can deal together and certain issues you can import external assistance. Sometimes, you need a combination of both. Best wishes
