No. I think they are fair. If they were so unfair, why would so many people choose to work there? Why wouldn't they go work at Target, Kohl's, Meyer's, Kroger's, or any other chain? Besides, if you compare, you'll find their employment policies almost mirror those of other large businesses.

The reason they don't allow people to take the scooters outside is because the dirt and rocks and such damage the wheels and motors, which would make them non-accessible to other customers if they have to be sent out for repair.

And asking for ID, well, duh. If you're going to buy cigarettes or alcohol, bring your ID. Don't blame the cashier for the laws being so strict. Plus if you are driving, you should have your license on you anyways, right?

I would be willing to boycott Wal-Mart just based on thier customer policies. When my husband was dying of cancer the store refused to let him drive the scooter out to the car after shopping. Also, they will not allow anyont to buy cigarettes without ID. Even my obviously over 18, grey haired friend was told he would have to go back to car and get his wallet in order to purchase cigs. I think it is discrimination against the old(er) and infirm.

Is it is possible that not all Wal-Marts share the same management policies?
I normally find other places to shop at so zero is still zero.
