I think a better question would be, "How might advances in technology affect the questions asked by the general population?"

Money affects what is discovered and the truthfulness about what is released to the general population.

In time, some people will question the validity of claims made about each discovered thing and economic wars will be launched if enough money is at stake. Also politcal careers will be bought.

To answer your question: it should bring forth the possibilty that what we know about a throery may be all or in-part wrong. What if the opposite were true, would glitches in a product go away?

Technology would certainly change the ease answers to some questions would be to find. Also, finding one answer might bring a whole load of new ones. For instance, technology has enabled us to make certain other stars have planets. Now, the question is, is anything alive on those planets?

Technology has affirmed that global warming is a fact. Politicians may argue about the cause, but the warming is real. The questions arise about what to do about it.
