This happens when I try to sync my iPod also. But this doesn't happen when I plug in my phone (w850i). What happens when I put a USB stick in is the computer would freeze for 5 seconds and restarts without warning :(

The restart thing also happened before I installed iTunes.

1GB usb stick and it's pretty empty since I can't put anything in it :(

There is a conflict with one or more background process. Try disabling all your startups in msconfig. Then enable them one at a time to see which one is causing the conflict.

There is a software conflict. Try reinstalling the iPod software.
Look in the Event Viewer located in the Administrative Tools for error messages.

Hi friend,
My answer will be
1. It may ne attacked and virus to your USB drive(pen drive)
when u are connecting the usb the antivrius software was trying the stop connection. when both synic will not fixed then it is restarting.
2. your USB Drive (exmple u have 1GB drive)
it is full when u are connecting to the system it si trying to auto playing (like DVD/CD drive). then it is stracs and it is restart.

probably that ur usb has a virus or even worse ur computer might have a virus.
Or it could be that the usb might be just installing programs and requires a reset to do so.
