I know what a piezo is, but what is a piezoelectric plate? Where can I buy them at? Radio Shack says they have never heard of them.
I am building (novice electronics) a circuit that requires a piezoelectric plate.
Is this seperate from a piezo?
Thanks

Beats me. But that reminds me. There was a piezoelectric question on my Master Electrician exam. I just scratched my head and took a guess. I passed the exam, but never figured out why that question would be included. Never ran across any piezos in over 40 years of electrical work. Not that I know of anyway.

Since you mentioned Radio Shack (which I refer to as "The Land of the Blank Stare") I will assume that you are in the U.S.A.

Check Allied Electronics.
