Once a week, first thing in the morning after you do #1. If you do it EVERY day or several times a day, you will run yourself ragged.
And don't consider it a "DIET"-which stands for "Don't Imagine Eating This"
True weight riddance comes with changing the way you eat, eating more healthy foods and more reasonable portions of stuff like pizza. (Pizza itself isn't evil. Having 3-5 slices instead of 1 or 2 is!)
I've lost over 100lbs since having my son last February. I've lost and gained and lost again. Fluctuations come with life, but I will NEVER go back to that size 26/28 again!(I'm in a 14/16 now.) My mother has lost about 90lbs since last March, as well. All with good ol' fashioned calorie counting, exercise, lots of water, and not completely denying ourselves what most diets consider "No no" foods-and forgiving ourselves after binges.(Life happens!)
For help and motivation, I STRONGLY recommend http://www.sparkpeople.com or if you are a teen http://www.sparkteens.com (or "sparkteen"-not sure which but it IS one of those).
You can see my before/after pictures on my spark blog page.

All the best to you!

I recognise folks are gonna say oh my gosh your traditionally already thin at five'two.five and weighing in at round 113. But Im informed I'm fats. Then I began ravenous. I'm now not depressed. I had been ravenous for three days and I handiest consume dinner. I motorcycle four miles as I expand every day. I do plenty of planks and stretching and if I'm laying in my mattress I will do motions like I'm driving a motorbike with my ft within the air. My target is much less that one hundred. I'm lowering every day and ingesting 6+ cups of water and possibly two cups of tea. Soon I can be consuming much less dinner or I might simply nonetheless consume dinner relying on how the load loss is going. Now you'll see an overview of abs and my hipbones lovely good. But I do plenty of the whole thing and I desire I achieve my target. please do not get too obsessive about this however well good fortune.

Once a week is the right answer. the reason for that is that the body weight fluctuates quite a lot between days, especially that of us women. Because of hormonal changes , we tend to accumulate water after ovulation and loose it again just before menstruation. These changes could account for up to a couple of Kgs, in some women and it could kill motivation during a diet!!
By the way: diets do not really work at the long term. The only way for a successful and permanent lost of weight is that of changing alimentary habits (less fat and sugar, more proteins) and increase excercise... I think I shall write a book about that!

Just weigh weekly at the same time of day and with the same amout of clothing. To weigh more often will just drive you nuts because there are ups and downs. Good luck.

My husband believes in daily but you vary so much, its not encouraging to me. I believe in once a month, then I can tell when I am losing by how my clothes are fitting on me.That is a much better indicator.
