Buzz down a cold can of some thing, a burp or two, and stand away from the sun for a while, and chill out.

One good trick I was taught was to run cold water over your wrists..... not sure why but it actually does work!
Alternatively stick your feet in a bowl of cold water!
I have ceiling fans in my house and one placed right above the bed, so at night all I have to do is stick one on and its lovely.

After working in my garden yesterday, I sat in my screened room in front of a fan, drinking ice water...much better than going directly into an air-conditioned room.

THe most effective way to lower core body temperature - run my wrists under the cold tap. Used to do it a lot when I was a chef.
