children, They say that all babies are identical in terms of their belonging to this or that national group. (the laws proclaim the same by the way)And it is very good I think. So it should be true for the adults, that they are regarded as equal the same as children? Is it so? Sorry, if this question offends anyone, I really don't mean to hurt one's feelings.

That's an amazingly good question, although you phrased it in a confusing way.

This probably stems from the same reasons that if a child was left sleeping on the street it would be taken into care, whereas a homeless adult is just left there.

Adults and children should be regarded as equal, but they're not.

When a child is born it doesn't know about any of the "labels" or have any of the "status symbols" that separate people later in life.
We live in a "class" society and that will probably never change.
