i am visiting Sydney Australia for 3 nights next week, as im there for only a short time i would like a good price placed to stay near the opera house and harbou bridge etc

The least expensive hotels in Sydney are around central Station. The most expensive near Circular Quay with views of the Bridge. You pay for views.

try flightcentre.com.au - they have some great deals for last minute bookings, and some really great hotels. i once stayed at a 5 star hotel for $170 per night, when the usual rate is $450. they have hotels for all budgets though - from no stars to 5 stars, so give it a look.
