The endless string of abuses of law and human rights, the invasions of our privacy, the heavy handed treatment of law abiding people at
airports and by police, the exorbitant costs of their visions and philosophies, their refusal to consider the people while granting corporations every accommodation and benefit, the dollar in it's death throws, the perversions exposed in official after official, all combine to paint an obvious picture. These are not people who deserve to be trusted. These are not people who have our security in mind. These are not people we should hand the reigns of the nation to as they are driving us directly to our own demise.
Why is our Congress complicit in allowing this? Where is the belief that our nation is good, and the recollection that the people are paying for everything, and the knowledge that we don't want the country to be changed into a fascist dictatorship? We don't want to be bankrupt and jobless and homeless and hopeless.

Does that really need to be said? Is that not self evident to our elected representatives?
When we have to make a case for justice, freedom, prosperity, privacy, human rights and peace, then we have lost them already.
When we are forced to beg for what supposedly defines us and keep hearing those requests denied for our own "security", we must face the reality that everything we once had is gone, and is not coming back.

Government has separated itself from us. It has abandoned the people and now seeks only to exert unlimited control over us, and to do with us as it will. Just as it can dismiss the law, it has dismissed the notion of the people being of consequence. This country has become their own property to do with as they choose, and we seem only to be standing in their way, along with our rights and the laws we once had that protected us.
Does anyone really believe that we willingly gave it all away believing it would make us safe? The painful truth of it is, that's exactly what we did. It could not be any more clear. Americans are the [b]stupidest people on earth.[/b]

I'm certain I could argue a logical explanation why I believe America possesses a high percentage of illiteracy and ignorance amongst its citizens (I’m not including those whom the government call ‘illegal aliens’), I’m speaking of citizens with the right to vote.
However, why should I offer a long-winded explanation when an abridged version of my argument can be offered thus;
A nation who ‘elected’ as their president a moronic imbecile, not once but twice, and have failed to bring about an impeachment for said imbecile, for what has been proved to have been an invasion of another sovereign country on the precept of democracy, is surely proof if ever required, that said electorate are not the most intelligent of people.
Therefore, my conclusion is a resolute; YES, it can be argued American citizens are the most stupid people on the planet.

Your "insight" and emotion are both exaggerated and misguided. You sound as if you are on the verge of developing a doomsday mentality. This can dramatically affect the quality of your life. Try to focus on the positive aspects and build from there. You will be a much happier person. After all, you only have one life to live. If you don't intend to run for political office or become siginificantly involved in "the process", then don't waste your time and energy complaining.

Funny how more people want to come to our stupid country. I'll take it with all of it's faults over any other form of Government in the world. It is still the best country to live in. The only rights being violated is on illegal aliens and terrorist supporters. Why is that a bad thing ? I for one want more protection at our borders and more punishment for those who chose to ignore our laws. You need to look at countries like China, North Korea, Venezuela, Iran, etc. for Fascist tendencies, not the U.S.A. Go ahead and condemn a country like ours, you have that right here. Try that language in another country and see what you get.

America is mostly a country of the unbelievably stupid, naive and ignorant.
However, it has become rich and powerful because of a land rich in natural resources (taken with much bloodshed from the natives) and because of a small minority of brilliant scientists and intellectuals who are held in contempt by the majority who take advantage of their achievements.
America has been so provably wrong on so many issues it is absurd and they are too stupid to see it.
1. They now talk about solving the problems of the Middle East after voting in a president who initially said the rest of the world didn't matter to Americans (and wanted to pull out of the Palestinian/Israeli peace process- the Palestinian situation being a prime recruiting sergeant for terrorists)
2. They ignored the rest of the world who warned that they should take stock and plan before invading Iraq (and many of these supported eventual military action.
3. They said they don't believe in Global Warming (the fact that they would ignore their own Academy of Sciences shows how anti-intellectual they are).

Could you tell me about how your legal rights have been "endlessly" abused, or how your privacy has been violated? What's "heavy handed" about making sure explosives don't go on airplanes?
That's just the first sentence of your tirade, and it already makes no sense...and that's before you start getting REALLY vague...of the stupid people on earth, I would say you're high on the list.
