YES of course due to sheer clock speeds and faster memory. BUT their GPUs are the same.

8800 ultra is better, because it has the word "ultra" in it

It is simply an overclocked GTX, so yes, it's a little faster.

If you don't mind doing a little research, you can save yourself $150+ by overclocking a GTX yourself.
