I've been appalled by many things the government have done and am certainly not a Labour supporter, but credit where it's due.
1. Creating the strongest and most stable economy the UK has seen since the second World War.
2. The National Minimum wage
3. Devolution for Scotland and Wales
4. The Good Friday Agreement, effectively ending the troubles in N. Ireland.
5. Cold weather allowance for the elderly
6. The ban on private citizens carrying fire arms after the Dunblane massacre.
7. The ban on smoking in public places
8. The huge improvement in the UK's foreign aid contributions.
9. Making incitement to religious hatred unlawful
10. Ban on Fox hunting

1. Increasing tax and bringing in all sorts of stealth tax..
2. Letting the Human Rights and PC brigade run riot
3. Taking away powers from the teachers
4. Introducing all the different kinds of benefits that people can claim which in turn makes them not the least bit bothered in getting a job.
5.Making Britain an open border for all the immigrants and not doing enough thorough checks to see whos genuine or not.
6. Letting criminals run riot and know that the law will protect and compensate them.
7. Banning parents from smacking children
8.Making sure that there wages are buffed up every 3 months or so
9. But introducing the minimum wage which they think(in their own little world) that the ordinary people of Britain can live on.
10. Giving control of the Interest rates to Bank of England who increase the rates every other month which results in people losing their homes and struggling just to make ends meet.
These are all the so called GOOD policies that new labour have brought in *hence the sarcasm*.

The only one I can name is that all immigrants coming to Britain from outside the EU have to speak English. Its just a shame its taken them 10 years to introduce this policy.

1 - Policy aimed at defending freedom and democracy with freedom and more democracy - LET'S ATTACK IRAQ AND KILL LOTS OF CIVILIANS.
2 - Let's make our capital clean and free from pollution --let's reduce congestion by a staggering 2% (yes, two percent) -- LET'S therefore INTRODUCE A STEALTH TAX LABELLED "CONGESTION... CHARGE" (no wonder the US Embassy in "London has told Livingstone where to stick his congestion charge, LOL they just refuse to pay it, LOL )
3 = SCHOOLS (that's a favourite of theirs) Let's make it easier for youngsters to go to university -- let's introduced a financial BAR by introducing university admission fees andf if that does not work, UCAS... if that does not work, COMPULSORY sex education in secondary schools encouraging kids to try sex and therefore be more ready to make (wait for it) a more informed decision" and make it COMPULSORY so parents cannot object.
4 - IMMIGRATION -- that's a beauty. Let's bring into this country ALL OTHER COUNTRIES SOCIAL PROBLEMS. It will add to the flavour of the place. How nice to see all those people trying to extract money from you at traffic lights with thier dirty water and demand money with menaces. Consulation... it is not only England. I go to Portugal frequently and was there 3 weeks ago for 3 weeks. I could not believe the large numbers of people who are not Portuguese, begging on the streets and make the place miserable. It certainly added to the flavour of the place !!!
5 top 10 -- Give Brown time !!!
