I need to check load carrying capacity of only engine (Not vehical engine). engine is coupled with Hydraulic pump. Pump is rotate by engine speed and generating pressure. In this unit engine and pump speed both have seperate speed control device used for oil Well maintenace.
Which type of test is suitable for this type of testing

If you can measure flow from the pump, then you could measure pressure and volume and figure out the horsepower (based on pressure*volume work) at any speed.

What type of unit is it? Is it for a power swivel, tong unit, pulling unit?
