My baby usually sleeps on her side or flips onto her belly, which scared me so much at first, but when I flipped her over she awakened and got upset :) Once they can roll over easily and consistantly both ways I think it's fine however they choose to sleep. She's also 8 months old and has been side and tummy sleeping for over a month now.

My daughter use to sleep on her side all the time... We even had one of those sleep positioners... She manage to wiggle on to her side every night.... The doctor said if she can do that then remove the sleep positioner thing and let her. They usually say that if baby can flip over then they are OK to sleep however they choose!

My son is now 18 months, and he slept on his side even though he was put to sleep on his back. And when he could role over good enough on his own he cuddled on his tummy...which he still does now. And he never keeps a blanket on. I just always check on him.

My 13 month old is the same way. Once they are older and can roll easily it is safe for them to sleep however they are comfortable.

My son is 7 months and sleeps on his side. Whatever way he feels comfortable to sleep is how he will turn.

As long as it's not on the stomach, its fine. Most of the babies I know, once they turn three or four months, get enough energy to roll on their side.

maximum toddlers are extra mushy on their facets. be careful to no longer have something interior the crib that the toddler could desire to suffocate om: no pillows, no filled animals, actual bumpers at the instant are not very secure the two. If he can roll himself to his side, he is going to lie that way, whether you place him on his returned. basically pay extra interest to him, shop pointless products out of the crib, and you somewhat could desire to be ok.
